Mobile App/Browser Solutions
"My tester is reporting that they can’t log in on the mobile browser, but accessing the link on other devices works."
What to look for: Device manufacturer (i.e. Huawei vs Apple vs Android), double check the internet connection for the mobile device vs. the successfully connected device to see if firewalls may be at play.
Suggested Solution: Attempt in an incognito/private browser window on your device, and clear the cache from your mobile browser.
Why: This behavior is mainly caused by some conflict with the browser’s cached data and the current browser window that the user is trying to access and a hard refresh of the browser window should be sufficient to reset that.
If all the above solutions do not help bring the tester into the project additional assistance from QA or IT may be required. Make sure that you have all the appropriate details to help pinpoint the issue.
- Username/email address of the affected tester
- Confirm the URL the tester is attempting to access the project with
- Device type, OS, and troubleshooting steps taken thus far.
