Recruiting Troubleshooting
User Cannot See Open Opportunity
User seeing "The page you are trying to access is unavailable"
User Cannot See Open Opportunity
What to check for:
Are the Opportunities/Sources enabled appropriately?
Why:
Opportunities/Sources must be active for applicable users to be able to see them on the Community Home
Suggested Solution:
Assume the PM of the project, navigate to recruiting, and ensure the Opportunity is active, as well as the specific source via which that user would be invited. Inactive opportunities/sources will be shown in italic grey text, and can be activated using the “Activate” button when hovering over them in recruiting management.
User seeing "The page you are trying to access is unavailable"
What to check for:
Have the users teams/team permissions changed since they have logged in?
Why:
User team changes, or role/team permission changes made while the user is still logged in will require a relog to apply properly. This can lead to users getting stuck behind "The page you are trying to access is unavailable" type messages if a notice is trying to present them with content they were only just recently granted access to.
Suggested Solution:
Have the user log out and back in, and verify if that has resolved their problem.
