Q: Can you [override the Delta Readiness check] turn on Delta in my project? I have not been able to pass the Delta Readiness Check, and I’d like to turn on Ted."
A: I’m happy to take a look at your current Delta Readiness Check and help point out some of the things that you may need to do in order to enable Delta in your project, but unfortunately, we are unable to bypass the Delta Readiness Check on a case-by-case basis.
Q: Can you customize how frequently Ted contacts your testers? Our testers are reporting being contacted too frequently.
A: Ted communication frequency can be adjusted using the Smart Engagement settings within the Ted settings page
What to check for, how to verify that Ted is not reaching out to any one particular user more than once a day in one project:
- If the complaint from the tester is specifically outlining they are being contacted by Ted too frequently for one existing project, you will need to verify that this is the case within the existing email logs on Centercode.
- If someone is being contacted more than once a day in one project, that is a bug that will need to be resolved with Dev intervention. Link to Gif checking existing email logs for communications from Ted
Q: Ted has not reached out to my testers yet about the phase opening, can you send the communication for me?
A: Unfortunately this is not something that we can facilitate on your behalf when it comes to Ted communications. Ted will select a time and date when your testers are most likely to be reviewing their inboxes and that is determined by the audience that you have set in the Project settings.
What to check for:
- The date and time that the client is reaching out to you, i.e. if it is a weekday (MON-THURS) evening, the communication won’t be sent out until the next morning (depending on the Audience listed in the Project Settings).
- The Audience that is set in the Project Settings (gif to location). After you have reviewed the audience, either follow this link to the article with the above charts posted or review this guide to check the Audience Schedule
- Collect at least 1-2 email addresses from testers who were supposed to be contacted but have not been contacted yet from the client. Proceed to the Email Logs to confirm if this communication was received. (gif to email logs)
Ted settings menu option is missing
What to check for:
If the customer has Delta activated and the menu option is missing then you'll want to check the project template to make sure the "Allow Ted" setting is enabled in the template.
Why:
Without "Allow Ted" enabled then the Ted Setting menu option won't be available.
Suggested Solution:
Update the project template setting.
